Latest News: Kimmel and Tri-State Team Part Ways

NEW ALBANY IN (10-24-07) - After winning their ninth ARCA RE/MAX Series championship, Frank Kimmel and Tri-State Motorsports have parted ways.

Kimmel, along with his brother and long-time crew chief Bill Kimmel, will compete in the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series under the Kimmel Racing banner as co-owners of the new race team. A car number and primary sponsor for the new team have not been determined.

Car owner/Tri State Motorsports team owner Larry Clement is yet to announce his plans for the 2008 racing season.

Next race we are going to is at Motor City Complex in Nashville known as the All American 400. This will be on Nov.2- Nov.4.

Bill and Pam would like to thank those that came to the party on 10/21/07. We appreciate having the sponsors, family and friends that continue to support Will.

Congratualtions to Frank Kimmel and the #46 team on their 9th Championship!

Will finished 2nd in the 50 lap race, and won the Super Late Model Championship by 3 points over Keith Gardner. Pictures will be posted soon.

Testing yesterday went well and Will is ready for the final race at Salem for the 2007 season. At this time Will would like to extend his thanks and appreciation to his crew that has stood by him all season long and worked very hard. Also thanks to all his sponsors and fans. With the testing opportunities that he has had in the past several months at Daytona and Kentucky, he looks forward to the 2008 racing season.
