I would like to thank those sponsors that made it possible for me to compete in the Kings Ransom 300 at Memphis. Without their support, I would not be able to do what I have this year. They are Clarksville Schwinn, GlobalTech, Riteway Industries, Dawn Durbin, DDS and Newlons. The guys that were able to go and help me were Larry Meadors, Eric Beyl, Lee Riddle, John Bell, Andy Pennington and my dad.

Tough weekend at Memphis, after qualifying 14th, raced up to 11th after the first 100 laps, but noticed a slight miss in the motor. Changed 4 tires during the first break, noticed a couple of plug wire boots cracked. We repaired the boots, and thought that would take care of the problem only to have the engine miss return and become worse after the half way point of the race. Really struggled throughout the rest of the second 100 segment. After the start of the final 100 lap leg of the race, the engine shut off at 207 laps, regulating to a 22nd place finish.
