Welcome to the new Will Kimmel Racing site. Look for the new photo gallery in the next couple days and a complete update on 2008 including Will's first ARCA start at Cayuga Motor Speedway in Canada. Please keep the Heavrin family in your thoughts and prayers. Will's Godfather, Tony Heavrin's mother, Annette passed away on Tuesday, July 1st. Please also keep Scott Heinemann in your thoughts as he recovers from surgery. As many of your know, Scott is part of the Will Kimmel Racing family. The 2008 racing season is here for Will Kimmel Racing. Things have been busy for Will, preparing his car for the 2008 season, working on the ARCA team, and getting ready for the Frank Kimmel Street Stock Nationals. For those of you who missed this on the front page, Will was on ESPN Radio, Inside Alabama Racing live on Wednesday evening. You can listen to Will's recorded interview on the home page of his website. The #44 team rolled out Thursday for the first race of the 2008 season, which is the ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour at Mobile International Speedway in Mobile, Alabama. There is practice Friday evening, then qualifications and race on Saturday. The race is scheduled for 100 laps and set to start at approximately 8pm. There will be LIVE Race updates posted on Will's site, just click on the link at the home page. There will be updates posted for practice, qualifications and the race. Thanks for all your support!

Will was down in Daytona helping Frank and the #44 Kimmel Racing ARCA team, where they got a 5th place finish in the Daytona ARCA 200 on Saturday, February 9th. Will and his team are working to finalize a schedule for the 2008 racing season, which will include select ASA and CRA races. At this time, WKR is looking to secure addtional sponsorship for the 2008 season, which will include races in the Southern Indiana area and beyond. Pam, Will's mother was a guest on Kentuckiana Motorsports today on WBKI, the CW Louisville with Craig Hoffman and Scott Douglas. The program will air again this Saturday, February 16th at 12pm on Insight Channel 7.

Good luck to Frank, who will be participating in a local "Dancing with the Stars" competition for charity on Tuesday, September 11th.

From www.arcaracing.com: "Kimmel's Dancing With The StarsIn a format similar to "Dancing With The Stars", Frank Kimmel will be competing in a dance contest Tuesday night at Huber's restaurant in Starlight, Indiana. Kimmel, who will be dancing the Tango with his dance instructor, has been practicing for the big night. The event, designed to raise money for charity, is orchestrated by Ann Bennett, who can be reached at (812) 989-6244. Huber's restaurant is located at 19816 Huber Rd. in Starlight, Indiana 19816.

We just got car back from Port City with new 2008 Ford Fusion body, pictures on the main page. We are currently planning on select ASA and CRA races for 2008. The team is ready to get the car prepared for the 2008 season. The Kimmel family has been very busy with the preparation and set up of the new shop for Kimmel Racing in Clarksville, Indiana. Bill and Frank along with Eric, Frank II and Will are getting the Dodges prepared for Daytona along with organizing the new shop. Once we have our schedule finalized for this season, we will post it.

Will has been busy helping with the Kimmel Racing ARCA team preparing for the Daytona test this past weekend. They will be back Monday and will be getting things ready for the new race shop in the upcoming week. Will Kimmel Racing would like to wish all his crew and fans a Merry Christmas!
